Main Dil Tum Dhadkan’s cast and crew celebrated the milestone achievement of their show with much joy and enthusiasm.
Shemaroo Umang’s serial Main Dil Tum Dhadkan has recently achieved a significant milestone. The show, premiering in September 2024, hit the 100th episode mark, which left the entire cast and crew in a mood for celebration. The show’s lead actors, Radhika Muthukumar, Zohaib Siddiqui and Neelu Vaghela, and the rest of the cast and crew celebrated the milestone with much pomp and zeal. In a recent interview, the three leads talked about their experience of working on the show. They reflected on all the unforgettable moments as well as the hardships they faced to achieve this milestone.
Radhika Muthukumar, who plays the female lead Vrinda in the serial, mentioned that crossing the 100th episode mark felt like a “dream come true.” As quoted by ETimes, she explained, “Vrinda’s journey of redefining the meaning of motherhood and her unbreakable bond with her son, Kanha, has been full of memorable moments, challenges, and triumphs.”
Sharing a fond anecdote from the sets of Main Dil Tum Dhadkhan, Radhika added, “I still remember celebrating festivals like Diwali on the set with the entire team; it felt like a family.” She further highlighted, “The love and support of our audience mean everything to me. Every scene, every emotion, has been a labour of love, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.”
On the other hand, actress Neelu Vaghela, who is best known for her role in Diya Aur Baati Hum, plays the role of Rajeshwari Devi in the Shemaroo Umang show. As quoted by the same media outlet, Neelu said that her journey in Main Dil Tum Dhadkhan has been all about “growth and connection.” Highlighting the orthodox perspective of her character, the actress shared her journey as Rajeshwari, a mother who wants the best for her family.
“Playing this character has been a remarkable experience. Over the months, we’ve shared countless laughs on set, and it’s been a beautiful journey. The love from viewers makes all the hard work worth it. I feel so lucky to be part of a show that resonates with so many hearts,” expressed Neelu.
Meanwhile, the show’s male lead, Zohaib, who portrays Keshav, emotionally noted that the show has become his “home.” Sharing that his on-screen character has taught him about sacrifice and love, he said, “I’ll never forget the late-night shoots and the camaraderie we share. The bond we’ve built as a team reflects in the show, and I am grateful to our viewers for embracing us so warmly.”
Main Dil Tum Dhadkan airs every Monday to Saturday on Shemaroo Umang at 8:30 PM.
