Shloka Mehta channels Kareena Kapoor Khan’s iconic ‘Bole Chudiyan’ look for Anant Ambani Radhika Merchant sangeet
Shloka Mehta dazzled in three remarkable outfits at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s sangeet ceremony, each meticulously styled by her sister Diya Mehta Jatia. The internet was particularly captivated by one ensemble: a peach lehenga reminiscent of Kareena Kapoor’s iconic Bole Chudiyan look from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
Shloka and Diya delved into Manish Malhotra’s archives to draw inspiration from Kareena Kapoor’s famous outfit, crafting a bespoke lehenga for the Ambani family’s eldest daughter-in-law. Diya shared photos of Shloka’s stunning look on Instagram, captioning them, “Looking PHAT! We aimed for something fun, elegant, and iconic for the sangeet. After many discussions, we decided to recreate the original @manishmalhotra05 Bole Chudiyan look. It was an absolute blast.”
The custom-designed peach lehenga set features a cropped blouse with a jeweled one-shoulder neckline, a backless design, intricate Resham and sequin embroidery, and butterfly-adorned tassels at the hem.
Shloka paired the blouse with a matching lehenga skirt, showcasing an A-line silhouette, floral Resham embroidery, peach sequin embellishments, and a floor-length hem. A coordinating embroidered dupatta with tassels and Resham detailing completed the ensemble.
Accessorizing her look, Shloka donned opulent jewelry, including a diamond necklace, dangling earrings, bangles, bracelets, and statement rings. Her makeup featured black eyeliner, kohl-rimmed eyes, mascara, berry-toned lips, and a touch of rouge on the cheeks, all complemented by a sleek ponytail.
