Apple has rounded-up its big Mac launch event on Wednesday with the M4 MacBook Pro series. The M4 chipset is a big part of Apple’s future, now that it has the Intelligence features available across the board. The M4 MacBook Pro doesn’t get a lot of design changes, and it is all about the hardware inside the machine that Apple is banking on to attract buyers. The M4 Pro and M4 Max promise faster performance and longer battery life than the previous versions.

The Apple MacBook Pro M4 comes in 14-inch and 16-inch models, with the starting price of Rs 1,69,900 and Rs 2,49,900, respectively. You can take your pick from the M4, M4 Pro or the M4 Max variants, depending on your need and budget. Apple MacBook Pro M4 is already on pre-order and will be available from November 8 in the country.
MacBook Pro M4: What’s New
The new MacBook Pro with M4 series chips gets 16GB RAM as the default option, and with the 14-inch model, you can upgrade up to 64GB with the M4 Max version. The 16-inch variant goes up to 128GB RAM and storage up to 8TB. The Macs feature a Liquid Retina XDR display like before but the nano-texture display is available, giving you up to 1000 nits of brightness. The 14-inch model weighs around 1.55 kg with the M4 chipset, while the 16-inch version comes at 2.14 kg because of the bigger size.
The 14-inch MacBook Pro gets ThunderBolt 4 ports, while the 16-inch variant comes with the new ThunderBolt 5 standard. The battery life is claimed to have gotten longer thanks to the new M4 chipset but only the reviews and opinions will give us the true picture in the coming weeks.
Apple has also added the new 12MP centerstage camera on the front. And yes, Apple Intelligence is a big part of the M4 series, which gives you all the AI features available to iPhone and iPad users running the new A-series and the M-series chips.
