Bigg Boss announced another task for the housemates wherein they had to sacrifice a personal belonging in exchange for ration.
The excitement around Bigg Boss 18 is growing with each passing episode. The latest addition saw Avinash Mishra and Arfeen Khan tasked to rank the housemates based on their contributions to the show. Following a discussion, the duo stepped in with the decision to give Rajat Dalal the highest rank. Next to him was Vivian Dsena, who was assigned the second spot.
At the end of the process, Muskan Bamne and Tajinder Bagga secured the last ranks, signalling their lowest contribution to the show. Based on their ranks, they also earned the label of “expiry soon,” putting them at risk of eviction alongside Sara Khan. Later, Avinash was also seen arguing with Alice Kaushik as the latter confronted him for not prioritising her during the ranking. However, Eisha entered the picture as a peacemaker, resolving the issues between them.
The emotions were running high as Bigg Boss announced another task for the housemates wherein they had to sacrifice a personal belonging in exchange of which they would be given ration. But, there was a twist. The ration would be provided by Avinash and Arfeen only if the sacrifices pleased them. With their control over the ration, they had the power to decide how much food and other staples to be given.
During the task, Avinash and Karan Veer Mehra locked horns yet again. Why? Avinash denied Shilpa’s ration demand despite her sacrificing her daughter and husband’s photograph in the fire pit. In exchange, she demanded chicken for Karan, coffee for Vivian and other food items.
Since Avinash refused to provide food, Karan Veer was left agitated which eventually led to a tiff between the two. Karan told him, “Abe baap hu ache se baat kar, Raipur yaad aa raha hai (Talk to me nicely, I am your father. Do you remember Raipur)?”
Eisha Singh also sacrificed her mother’s shawl, demanding atta and paneer for herself. Arfeen and Avinash, not being able to come to a mutual decision, argued over how much ration to give and to whom. Karan Veer followed Eisha only to announce that he would not make any sacrifice. Reflecting on the reason behind the same, he said, “Personal item toh bahut dur ki baat hai, main toh apne paer ke nakhun tak nahi chadhaunga to satisfy this (Avinash) man’s ego. Bhookha reh lunga, ration nahi mangunga (Personal items are a far cry; I will not even offer my toenails. I will stay hungry; I will not ask for ration).” Towards the end, we saw Shrutika Raaj and Avinash Mishra arguing during the same task.
Bigg Boss 18 airs on Colors TV. It is available for streaming on Jio Cinema.
