Bigg Boss 18 has seen a number of bonds being formed among contestants. While some have managed to survive the intense pressure of the game, many have broken over time. There are also few bonds that have often come under scrutiny, one such being the friendship between Shilpa Shirodkar and Vivian Dsena. In the latest episode, the housemates were asked to give their opinion on the two. Most of the candidates believed Shilpa was more favourable to the actor.
In the recent episode, Sunidhi Chauhan and Sanya Malhotra entered the house and launched a special segment. The duo asked the housemates to vote on which bond should be dissolved. Surprisingly, the equation between Shilpa and Vivian received the most votes. Chum Darang said, “Personally, mujhe yeh rishta nahi samajh mein aata (I don’t understand this relationship). It’s one-sided. I think it’s high time you cut this relationship.”
Shilpa agreed with what Chum said and suggested that she follow the advice she gave her. Chum further stated, “Ab jo bhi personal rishta hai 2025 mein bahar nibhaya jaayega. Abhi jo bhi hai game ke liye in the house (Now, whatever personal relationship we have will be carried out in 2025. Whatever is there right now is in the house for the game).”
Vivian Dsena responded, stating that a true friendship developed inside the house will be maintained in the outside world. But, sometimes it becomes a selfish equation for the game.
Later, Chaahat Pandey mentioned the same reason to cut off ties between Shilpa and Vivian. She added that Shilpa had shown excessive fondness for Vivian. Shilpa, however, reacted, saying, he doesn’t mind if the actor isn’t as fond of her. She stated, “Main friends with benefits nahi rakhti aur naa rakhungi (I neither keep friends with benefits nor I will).”
Earlier, Avinash Mishra had also warned Vivian about breaking his ties with Shilpa. When Shilpa had criticised Vivian and his friends, Avinash told the latter, “Mein ek sach batau, aapka ye maa beta angle khatam karna hai pehle. Bahut extreme ho chuka hai. (You have to end this mom-son angle first; it has been dragged for too long). It irritates me; I don’t know about others.”
Meanwhile, there was no elimination this week and the guest host Farah Khan had conducted the weekend episodes.
