Chetan Hansraj also opened up on why the character holds a special place in his heart
The television show, Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyag Tandav, has been receiving much love and appreciation from fans. The mythological show, which focuses on the eternal love between Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, is all set to witness an exciting twist. Reportedly, the makers have decided to introduce Lord Vishnu’s sixth avatar, Parashuram. Chetan Hansraj has been roped in to play the character.
Chetan Hansraj said that he is excited to be a part of Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyag Tandav. In a statement, he even reflected on the reasons behind joining the show. Chetan said, “It feels like a homecoming for me. One of the major reasons for me to join Shiv Shakti- Tap Tyag Tandav is my mom, who has been an avid lover of the show ever since it went on air. Her devotion to Lord Shiva is such that she watches the episodes on repeat.”
Chetan Hansraj also opened up on why the character holds a special place in his heart. The actor said, “Playing Parashuram is an opportunity I will cherish, especially considering the love my mother has for this show. I am hopeful and eager to receive the same affection and support from all our viewers and well-wishers, as I have always been fortunate to receive.”

Ram Yashwardhan plays the role of Lord Shiva in the show. Whereas, Subha Rajput is seen as Goddess Parvati.
