The upcoming film Mere Husband Ki Biwi starring Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh created a lot of buzz weeks before its release. The trailer was released a few days back, and it has left viewers in splits. While it piqued the interest of many moviegoers, the Shaadi.com founder, Anupam Mittal, also seems to be intrigued. Recently, he shared his reaction upon watching the trailer, and he surely approves of the upcoming romantic comedy.
Anupam Mittal wrote in his latest tweet, “Somebody in office just showed me the promo of Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ & I couldn’t stop guffawing. Masst Shaadi fun hai.” The trailer provides a peek of the chaos and humour the film promises to bring. It depicts Arjun Kapoor’s character Ankur caught between his ex-wife, Bhumi Pednekar, and his fiancee, Antara, played by Rakul Preet Singh. The trailer was full of humour, and it included a reference to Arjun’s popular character, Danger Lanka, from Singham Again. The movie presents a comical and heartwarming modern-day romance set in Delhi, where love, fate and unforeseen turns leave one man in a dilemma.

Speaking about the bonding between the co-stars on set, Arjun Kapoor said, “I never saw them being insecure of each other. Even today, when we met, Rakul and Bhumi hugged each other for 15 minutes and then Rakul turned towards me and greeted me. There’s genuinely a camaraderie there and it’s nice to see that in our generation and that deserves to be celebrated.”
Mudassar Aziz directed the film Mere Husband Ki Biwi. In addition to Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh, the cast includes Aditya Seal, Dino Morea, Harsh Gujral and others. The film is presented by Vashu Bhagnani and Pooja Entertainment, with production by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh. The film will be released in theaters on February 21.
