Donald Trump vowed to stop all the wars going across the globe. Referring to Israel-Hamas, and Russia-Ukraine conflict, Trump said, “We did not have wars for 4 Years. I’m going to stop wars.”
Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump on Wednesday vowed to fix up the border issue to stop the immigrants and echoed to make America safe, strong and prosperous.
“Every single day,” Trump said, “I will be fighting for you with every breath in my body.”
While addressing his supporters who had gathered in Florida’s Palm Beach on election night, as he notched key wins in the race for the White House, Trump raked up the immigration issue and said, “We need to seal those borders and people need to come back legally.”
Since his first term as US President, Trump has been a strong supporter of “Make in America” policies and has consistently opposed illegal immigration. His 2016 campaign focused on the idea that immigrants were taking jobs away from Americans. During his presidency, he began building a wall along the Mexican border, increased deportations of undocumented immigrants, and imposed stricter rules for legal immigration, making it more difficult for people to enter the country.
During the campaign, Trump had criticised President Biden for not effectively handling the crisis at the southern border and has targeted Kamala Harris, calling her the “border czar” and blaming her for the issues there. Immigration was a huge part of Trump’s poll campaign.
While taking a dig at incumbent President Joe Biden, Trump said that under Republican government, the United States would have borders and tight Security.
He further vowed to stop all the wars going across the globe. Referring to Israel-Hamas, and Russia-Ukraine conflict, Trump said, “We did not have wars for 4 Years. I’m going to stop wars.”
Trump Thanks For Unprecedented Mandate
The potential President-elect told his supporters that this moment will “help this country heal.”
“I want to thank the American people for the extraordinary honour of being elected your 47th president, and your 45th president,” he said.
“America has given us an unprecedented and powerful mandate. We have taken back control of the Senate – wow that’s good,” Trump told his supporters in Florida.
“We have a country that needs help and it needs help very badly. We’re going to fix our borders and we’re going to fix everything about our country,” Trump said. “It’s now clear that we’ve achieved the most incredible political thing… look what happened, is this crazy?” Trump added.
He further said that his party will pay back the “hardworking” people of America for their support. He said, “People regained control of their country.”
“I will bring every energy, soul and fire to make America the greatest,” he added.
Trump Speaks About Assassination Attempts
Trump also mentioned about the two assassination bids being attempted on him during the poll campaign. “God spared my life for a reason,” he said.
On July 13, one of the most shocking moments in US presidential history occurred after a lone gunman fired at Donald Trump during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. As Trump was delivering his speech, a popping sound was heard, followed by Trump touching his ear and realising there was blood on it. Within seconds, he dropped to the stage floor and was surrounded by Secret Service agents.
On September 16, a gunman fired near the boundary of the former US President’s golf club in West Palm Beach. In an official statement, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) said Trump was safe and unharmed.
A potential suspect, 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh, was in custody.
Trump Lauds JD Vance As ‘Good Pick’
Trump lauded Vice-Presidential nominee JD Vance, saying, “he’s a great pick.” He also thanked his wife Melania Trump and his aides.
Vance also spoke at the event and said, “This is the biggest political comeback in history.”
Donald Trump Inches Towards Victory

US Election 2024 Results LIVE: On Verge Of Win, Trump Says This Moment Will ‘Help The Country Heal’
That gives him 266 electoral votes, just shy of the 270 needed to win the presidency. Fox News has already called the race in Trump’s favour.
Polls for weeks have shown a razor-thin race between Harris and Trump, who would be the oldest president at the time of inauguration and only the second to serve non-consecutive terms.
Harris has so far captured 195 electoral votes, including big prizes California and New York — as well as the US capital Washington. Harris, who was a late entrant to the US presidential race since President Joe Biden withdrew in July after a poor debate performance, was initially leading over Trump in opinion polls. Despite a strong support from women in exit polls, Harris was unable to turn this into votes as she is trailing behind the former President in key states.
