They even entered the church which was built over five centuries. They knelt and prayed. One picture also hinted that they renewed their wedding vows with their friend acting like the priest.
In case you are also planning to visit Milan with your partner just like Sonakshi and Zaheer, then here are the top five things that you must do on your romantic getaway.
Explore Sforza Castle And Parco Sempione
The Sforza Castle is a historical fortress surrounded by beautiful gardens. After you visit the castle, you can head to the Parco Sempione which is located right behind the castle. Take a picnic basket and enjoy a picnic date with a glass of some Italian wine.
Take A Gondola Ride On The Navigli Canals
The Navigli Canals are better than the ones in Venice. These canals are lined with cafes, art galleries, and boutiques. Enjoy a romantic gondola ride along the canals, especially at sunset.
Visit Santa Maria delle Grazie
This is the place where Leonardo da Vinci painted his masterpiece – The Last Supper. The artwork is housed in a quiet, intimate setting which makes it a delight for all history and art geeks.
Indulge In Milan’s Local Delights
You can check out some of Milan’s elegant restaurants or hidden gems and enjoy a romantic dinner. Traditional Milanese dishes like risotto alla milanese or ossobuco should not be missed.
Relax At The Brera District
With its cobblestone streets, the district is dotted with art galleries and charming cafes. While you are taking a casual stroll, you should definitely check out the Pinacoteca di Brera, an art gallery that houses masterpieces from famous artists like Raphael and Caravaggio to name a few.
