Farah Khan stepped into the shoes of Salman Khan, donning the hat of the host for the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar episode.
The upcoming episode of Bigg Boss 18 will see Salman Khan skipping the Weekend Ka Vaar and Bollywood filmmaker Farah Khan replacing him as a host. Taking charge of addressing the issues in the house and giving contestants a reality check, Farah indulged in a conversation with Karan Veer Mehra, Shrutika Arjun and Rajat Dalal. She also delivered a stern warning to Rajat following his recent behavior in the house wherein he was involved in a violent incident with Digvijay Singh Rathee.
In a promo released by the makers, Farah Khan is seen telling Rajat Dalal, “Rajat, tere ko Bigg Boss ne zimmedaari nahi di hai saari ladkiyon ki raksha karne ki (Bigg Boss has not given you the responsibility to protect girls in the house).” Defending himself, Rajat answers her back saying, “Agar rickshawali baat hai toh mere ghar walo ne mujhe ek cheez sikhayi hai… (if it is about protecting women, my family has taught me).” Interrupting him, Farah asks her, “So their family members didn’t teach them?”
As the trailer proceeds, Farah turns to the female housemates, asking them whether they need Rajat’s help to defend them. The ace director asks, “Who needs help to defend themselves in the house?” None of them raises their hands. As the girls deny taking any assistance from the powerlifter, Farah warns him, “See, no one needs your help. Now I am giving you a direct warning. If one more time there is a physical fight, you will be out.”
Farah’s warning to Rajat Dalal follows a recent fight inside the house involving Eisha Singh, Avinash Mishra, Digvijay Singh Rathee and Rajat Dalal.
Elsewhere in the interview, Farah Khan also comes out in support of Karan Veer Mehra, referring to him as the “most targeted contestant” of the season. Comparing him to Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla, Farah also says that the show revolves around Karan Veer Mehra, signaling at his strong presence inside the house. She adds, “This is not Bigg Boss 18, this is The Karan Veer Mehra Show.”
Salman Khan gave it a miss to this week’s Weekend Ka Vaar due to his attendance at the oath-taking ceremony of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
