Bigg Boss 18, the Salman Khan-hosted reality show, is now seeing fierce competition among the contestants. Last week, the guest host Farah Khan gave the participants a reality check, informing them that the show is being called ‘The Karan Veer Mehra Show’ outside as the entire house dynamics is around that one player only. The director-choreographer’s statement hurt other housemates including Avinash Mishra and he expressed his wish to participate in Rohit Shetty’s stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. To put things in context, Karan Veer Mehra entered the Bigg Boss 18 house a week after winning Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14.
After the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Avinash expressed his disappointment while talking to Eisha over Bigg Boss cancelling the elimination round whenever Karan’s group is nominated. Listening to this, the latter said, “Yaar, Mishra ji aap har ball pe sixer maar rahe ho. (Mishra, you are hitting sixer in every ball).”
Replying to Karan, Avinash shared, “Bhai, aab sixer kya mare? Mar diya aap, jeet gaye pura show. Karan Veer’s show ban gaya. Hum Bigg Boss sign kiye the. Hum soche hum aaye; kuch karenge. Na character mil raha, na show. (Brother, how do I hit a sixer? You nailed it; you won the show. It’s the Karan Veer Show now and I came for Bigg Boss. Neither I am getting a character nor a show.)”
After this, Avinash sarcastically asks whether he will get work after Bigg Boss or not, while Karan tells him that he will sign a letter for the former. Replying to him, Avinash added, “Bhai, Khatron Ke Khiladi ke unit mein bhi kaam laga do toh chalega, seedha Bigg Boss bhi jeet hi rahe ho, bol hi diye ho. Khatron Ke Khiladi mein kaam laga do iske baad. Is bahane at least passport mein thappa lag jayega, thoda ghum lenge. (Brother, find me a job in the Khatron Ke Khiladi unit; you’re winning Bigg Boss as well. Get me a job in Khatron Ke Khiladi; at least my passport will get a stamp).”
Concluding the conversation, Karan shared that he understands the pain behind Avinash’s statement, while the latter added that at least one contestant must get eliminated every week.
