The French Tennis Federation told AFP on Sunday that it had filed a complaint following a burglary at the Roland Garros stadium.
Thieves broke in on Thursday night ransacking several offices and stealing branded products, including wristbands, the French tennis governing body, which manages the Paris stadium, told AFP.
“An investigation is underway, and a complaint has been lodged,” said the Federation, without confirming the total value of the stolen goods, which was put at 30,000 euros (33,500 dollars) by French news channels.
Located in the prestigious 16th arrondissement of Paris, on the edge of the Bois de Boulogne, Roland Garros hosts the French Open tennis tournament every year.
