Israeli military tanks were seen massing in northern Israel by the Israel-Lebanon border on September 30. The move comes only days after the killing of Hezbollah’s leader, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, in an Israeli airstrike on Beirut. Hezbollah’s deputy leader Naim Qassem, in his first public address since Nasrallah’s killing, said that the group is ready for any Israeli land invasion. He also said that despite the “massacres in all areas of Lebanon”, Hezbollah will continue to fight Israel.
