The Israeli military said it struck “around 800 Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon and in the area of Bekaa deep inside Lebanese territory”. Lebanese officials said “thousands of families from the targeted areas have been displaced” due to the Israeli strikes.Earlier, IDF spokesman issued a warning to civilians in Bekaa Valley, calling on them to flee from homes. Israel said it attacked hundreds of Hezbollah targets on Sept. 23 in airstrikes which Lebanese officials said killed at least 274 people. The attacks mark the largest escalation of violence between Hezbollah and Israel since the war in the Gaza erupted on Oct. 7.
