Mohammedan SC came back from two goals down up until the end of regulation time to hold Chennaiyin FC 2-2 in the 2024-25 Indian Super League.

Around the 38th minute, one of the floodlights went off but play continued after the referees and officials had a chat near the touchline.
With the half-time approaching, the game got much more physical as either side looked to get control of the ball.

Chennaiyin were the side who scored in the 49th minute. Kasimov lost the ball as Lukas Brambilla ran through the Mohammedan defence and poked the ball past a stunned Chettri in goal.
Chernyshov was not a happy man as he looked on helplessly.

With the clock ticking over the 90-minute mark, five to be precise, Manvir Singh broke the lull in stands with a brilliant finish into the corner. The Indian brought Makan Chothe’s cross from the right under control as he swivelled on the spot and put the ball into the net.
The Black and White brigade believed again.
There was more drama in store as Laldinpuia fouled Manvir inside the box. The referee flashed red and pointed to the spot again. Lalremsanga Fanai stepped up but this time Nawaz jumped the wrong way.
Mohammedan managed to get a point from a game they were losing up until the 90th minute.
