Speaking at a special ahead of Break It Down, the trio of Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods revealed not being a huge fan of their debut attire in which all three stars rocked matching blue gear.

One of WWE’s most successful tag team factions in history, The New Day have revealed the thing they hated the most during their run in the company. With Big E sidelined from all the action due to an injury, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have been carrying the team for the last two years. All three members of The New Day recently got back together during the latest episode of WWE Break it Down.
On the show, they revealed not being a huge fan of their debut attire. All three stars rocked matching blue gear during their debut. Speaking about their outfits on WWE’s YouTube channel, they said, “So this is our original gear. We don’t care for it. It did not hold up very well.”
In the latest WWE Break It Down episode, Big E can be seen taking the centre seat with Kingston and Woods on either side. Big E was handed a tablet which played back a clip of their debut.
Speaking further about the outfits, the injured star said, “This was our only set of gear that has not been designed by the man, the myth, the legend, Jonathan Davenport, our dear, dear friend.”
Woods was a little taken aback by the outfits as he said, “Look at us. Look at us. It’s real bad.”
Kingston claimed they couldn’t have done any worse with their gear which ended up helping them to recover from that fashion disaster quickly. “It’s real bad. You know what, though? Being that we’ve had some of the greatest gear of all time to start out with the garbage. Yeah. Really left us only with only up to go,” he said.
Woods agreed with his teammate’s words and jokingly added, “This is true. This is strategic, right? We did this on purpose. It was a very easy choice. Well, we had to pick between one and two things to either put it in the garbage or in the trash.”
The New Day made their debut nearly a decade ago back in 2014. Since then the trio of Big E, Kingston and Woods have won WWE Tag Team titles nine times to establish themselves as one of the greatest factions in the company.
However, things have been getting spicy amongst the stars in recent times. Amid Big E’s absence from live television, Kingston and Woods have had several issues with each other for weeks. It almost seems like the group could split up in the upcoming months.
