The actress posted the trailer on her Instagram stories and attached a short yet heartwarming note encapsulating her delight.
The note read, “A new badass Varun Dhawan and a classic Atlee. It’s going to be a very Merrryyyy Christmas indeed.” Baby John, starring Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi and Jackie Shroff apart from Varun Dhawan, is set to hit the theatres on December 25. The film is jointly written by Kalees and Sumit Arora with Atlee taking charge as the producer. Salman Khan will also be making a cameo in the movie. Composer Thaman S, cinematographer Kiran Koushik and editor Ruben came on board to contribute with their impressive skills, making the upcoming action thriller an entertaining watch.
Janhvi Kapoor’s last film was Devara – Part 1, marking her debut in the South film industry. In the film, she played the female lead alongside Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan. Helmed by Siva, the film was a commercial and critical success, adding to the list of Janhvi’s superhit projects. Next, Janhvi Kapoor is set to reunite with Varun Dhawan for their upcoming film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the romantic drama is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Besides the talented duo, Maniesh Paul, Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra will also be adding stardust to the cast of the film. The upcoming flick will be released in theatres on April 18, 2025.
Speaking about her experience of working in the film, Janhvi Kapoor earlier told Pinkvilla, “It’s my home turf. I feel most at ease here; it’s the space where I can do comedy and masti (have fun). I’m embracing the nakhre-vakhre (drama) and just enjoying myself a lot. We shot a song, and people on set were asking, ‘Why didn’t you do this before?’ I’m having a lot of fun doing it.”
In addition to the romantic drama, Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in RC16 with Ram Charan.
