In the lead-up to the Paris Olympics, JSW Inspire has unveiled its latest line of athletic wear, designed to enhance performance while embodying national pride. With cutting-edge features and a design inspired by India’s diverse landscapes, these kits are set to make a mark both on and off the field.
JSW Inspire has incorporated a range of advanced technologies to ensure that athletes can perform at their best. The garments feature anti-static properties to combat static cling, providing a more comfortable wear. The stretch fabric allows for a custom fit that moves seamlessly with the athlete’s body, ensuring maximum range of motion. Air vents facilitate airflow and heat dissipation, keeping the athlete cool under pressure.
One of the standout features is Drytech+ moisture-wicking technology. This innovation draws moisture away from the skin to the outer surface of the garment, where it can evaporate quickly. This keeps the athlete’s skin dry and cool, reducing chafing and irritation. Additionally, the anti-microbial properties help prevent unpleasant odors and fabric degradation, ensuring that the kits remain fresh even after intense use.
The market response to JSW Inspire’s new line has been overwhelmingly positive. In just 2.5 weeks, the brand has seen over 100,000 visits to their site and over 5,000 orders. This includes significant corporate orders for employees and clients traveling to Paris for the Olympics.
While key cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Kolkata, and Hyderabad have led the charge, there has also been notable interest from tier-I and II markets such as Rohtak, Chandigarh, Mizoram, MP, Sonipat, and Sivakasi. Remarkably, most of this traffic has been organic, indicating a strong demand among sports fans for Team India merchandise.
Top Indian athletes have praised the new kits, underscoring their pride in wearing JSW Inspire at the Olympic Games. Neeraj Chopra, India’s javelin star, remarked, “A part of an athlete’s confidence in competition comes from the kitting. I really like the concept behind the design of these kits, and hope to see our contingent create as many winning moments in them.”
Hockey captain Manpreet Singh expressed his admiration for the design, especially the gold inscription of “India” on the jersey. “It gave me goosebumps. It’s always every athlete’s dream to win a gold medal, and seeing India written in gold gives an athlete motivation. The jersey looks beautiful,” he said.
Boxer Nishant Dev highlighted the kit’s tribute to India’s vast terrains and mountains, adding a personal touch to his Olympic journey. “Growing up, it was always my dream to represent India at the Olympic Games. To do it in these JSW Inspire kits as a JSW athlete makes it even more special,” he shared.
