Who Is Kash Patel? All You Need To Know
Patel, a former Republican House staffer and a “deep state” critic, was followed by more than four lakh people within hours of joining the social media platform.
Born in 1980 to parents of Gujarati descent who emigrated from East Africa, Patel completed his undergraduate programme at the University of Richmond before returning to New York to earn his law degree and a certificate in International Law from the University College London Faculty of Laws in the United Kingdom.
Stepping into the legal field, the 44-year-old started working as a public defender in Florida, appearing for his clients in state and federal courts. Later, he took a significant jump, joining the Department of Justice as a prosecutor.
In the recently held US elections, where the Republicans emerged stronger than the Democrats, Patel was seen campaigning for ally Trump in his presidential bid against Kamala Harris.
