The 39-year-old took to social media platform X, to post an update that read, “Let’s do a fight with @FloydMayweather In INDIA”.
The Olympic bronze medallist remains the last Indian male pugilist to bring home a medal from the quadrennial extravaganza as he bagged the third podium spot in the 2008 edition of the Summer Games in Beijing.

Tyson hadn’t been involved in a competitive fight since 2005 and came out of retirement for the bout, which was postponed by six months from the originally proposed date due to medical reasons as Tyson had to deal with stomach ulcers.
The disparity in age between the contestants was so vast that the bout did not receive clearance in multiple states across the United States of America before Texas stepped in to host the multi-million-dollar event.
The undercard on the day also featured Indian boxer Neeraj Goyat, who posted a win over Whindersson Nunes in the super middleweight category on the day.
