Mallika Sherawat gave a witty reply to a paparazzo who claimed that he was seeing her for the first time. She joked and mentioned how she has been in the industry for almost two decades now.
Mallika Sherawat is all set to make her comeback in Bollywood with Raaj Shaandilyaa’s Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. The actor is in Mumbai to promote her upcoming film. Amidst this, she gave a witty reply to a paparazzo who claimed that he was seeing her for the first time.
In a video shared by a paparazzo, Mallika Sherawat can be seen gracefully posing and smiling for the cameras. The actor wore a printed skirt which she had paired with an orange top and a cherry red bag. A paparazzo complimented her and said, “Wow!” To which the actor replied, “Bada wow wow kar raha hai.” The man said that he was seeing her for the first time. He said, “Aapko pehli baar dekha isiliye wow kar raha hai.” The actor jokingly said, “Kamaal hai, 20 saal se main industry mein hoon, tune mujhe pehli baar dekha.”

In an earlier interview, director Raaj Shaandilyaa revealed how the actor reacted when he approached her with the movie. He said that Sherawat thought he was asking her to perform in a song and was surprised to hear that he had, in fact, written a character for her. Speaking to Money Control, he said, “I called her, I have written a character for you, and she was like, ‘Really, mujhe laga kuch gaane ke liye bula rahe ho.’ The moment she heard the role, she immediately said yes to it.”
The actor became a huge hit after she acted in Mukesh Bhatt’s Murder where she shared the screen with Emraan Hashmi. Following this film, she played important characters in films such as Pyaar Ke Side Effects, Welcome, and Ugly Aur Pagli to name a few. She also appeared in several songs in Hindi films.
Starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri in the lead role, Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is all set to release in cinemas on October 11.
