A cryptic video featuring tennis stars Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic has left fans scratching their heads. The two stars are currently attending the prestigious US Open 2024 in New York.
They even competed in the pre-US Open exhibition match a few days back. The duo participated in the Stars of the Open event to kick off the final Grand Slam of 2024. Following their event, the US Open’s official social media account shared a bizarre clip on X. In the video, Djokovic is seen suddenly disappearing from the frame while the camera focuses on Alcaraz. “Let us know when you see it,” the post read.
The strange post has left tennis fans puzzled. Many have now flocked to the comments section, speculating how Novak Djokovic vanished from the frame so quickly. One of them jokingly compared the Serbian tennis icon with a ghost and wrote, “New name: Novak Ghostovic.”

A netizen hilariously suggested she was reminded of UFOs after seeing Djokovic disappear. She said, “Novak disappeared, this immediately came to my mind.”
Another curiously asked, “Lol where did the goat vanish to?”
“The guy in the beige shirt above Mac was taking pics – only he can solve the mystery!” wrote one more.

Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz kickstarted the US Open 2024 with an epic doubles battle. The Stars of the Open event saw former US Open winners compete against fans’ favourites at Flushing Meadows. Both Alcaraz and Djokovic were paired alongside tennis legends during the doubles action. The Serbian partnered with US icon John McEnroe while Alcaraz teamed up with the legendary Andre Agassi. All four players had microphones on them during the event, allowing the fans to hear the dialogue between both teams. Djokovic and McEnroe ended up taking the win 10-8. Now the Serbian must be dreaming of a similar scalp over the Spaniard once again during the US Open next week.
Speaking of their US Open 2024 campaign, Novak Djokovic is set to lock horns with Moldovan tennis star Radu Albot in the First Round. The match will be held at the Arthur Ashe Stadium on Tuesday, August 27. Carlos Alcaraz, on the other hand, will be taking on Australia’s Li Tu at the same venue a day later.
