Premier League side West Ham United announced the appointment of English head coach Graham Potter at the helm of the club on Thursday, following the sacking of Julen Lopetegui a day earlier.
Spaniard Lopetegui was given the sack after just 22 games in charge of the London club following poor results as the Hammers languish in the 14th place in the table.
Potter’s previous managerial spell was at the head of fellow London side Chelsea FC, where he was sacked after just seven months of taking over the role of the gaffer.
Potter, however, had a brilliant time in the PL with Brighton and Hove Albion before his switch to the Blues as the 49-year-old enjoyed some solid results with the Seagulls.
The Hammers shared an update on their social media platform with the caption, “West Ham United is delighted to welcome Graham Potter as the Club’s new Head Coach”.
