While promoting the much-awaited sequel in Kochi, a radiant Rashmika Mandanna exudes charm in a bespoke saree with a daring allusion to Pushpa.

At yesterday’s Pushpa 2 promotions in Kochi, Rashmika Mandanna, often referred to as the National Crush of India, added a new chapter to her legendary fashion exploits. The actress, dressed in a glowing yellow saree, was a picture of grace and understatement, but her tailored blouse was the main attraction.
Subtle horizontal stripes on the silk saree created a flowing yet structured design that honoured traditional Indian workmanship. But what really made the outfit stand out was the back of her blouse. The design skilfully blended a nod to royalty with a nostalgic 90s look, boldly embroidered with the movie’s title, Pushpa, on a dramatic bow tie. In addition to paying homage to the movie, this custom detail affirmed Rashmika’s portrayal of Srivalli, which has since become a cultural icon.

Her makeup was an exquisite example of subtle glitz. Her natural glow was enhanced by dewy skin, soft brown eyeshadow, and a nude lip colour; a traditional touch was added by a classic black bindi. Rashmika’s smooth yet slightly voluminous, shiny, shoulder-length hair perfectly framed her face and added to her youthful attractiveness.
Simple yet striking accessories were used; gold floral earrings, a delicate diamond necklace, and layered pearl bracelets all went well with the ensemble. She continues to win hearts on and off screen because of the refinement that permeated every aspect of her appearance.
