Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir visited Jerusalem’s al-Aqsa Mosque to pray for the return of hostages “without a reckless deal.” Ben Gvir also suggested that a hostage-ceasefire deal with Hamas should be delayed until the US presidential election in November. This as a deal could advantageous for US President Joe Biden and detrimental to his Republican rival Donald Trump in the November election. Mossad chief told the security cabinet that young female hostages held by Hamas don’t have time to wait for a new hostage deal framework.
