Samsung’s Android 15 update has been delayed to 2025 as its launches the new flagship phones with the latest One UI update.
Samsung has been inspired by Apple with its recent product designs and soon you will have a version of the iPhone dynamic island called the Now Bar. Samsung’s Android 15 update is running late and expected to release with the new Galaxy S25 series in January but the company is giving us a teaser of what’s to come. Apple introduced the dynamic island to use the screen space for some notifications, and Samsung is happy to take these cues and add the AI layer for its Now bar which will show at the bottom of the screen.
Samsung’s Android 15 Now Bar Update: What It Brings For Users
The Dynamic Island on iPhone 15 and higher models give you details like charging status, where your Uber cab is, and even the food delivery input. Samsung will adopt a similar tactic with Now Bar but put it at the bottom of the screen. It will leverage the Galaxy AI tech to offer a wide range of features on the home screen.
Samsung claims the Now bar will give you weather updates, notify you or send alerts if you have a flight to catch, and even let you convert the currency on the home screen.
The company is doing this pre-release teasers because people are now eager to get the Android 15 update. Brands like OnePlus and Nothing have already rolled out for their existing devices while Vivo and Oppo have launched their phones with the new Android version.
What’s more, Google has already started the Android 16 beta program, so it is apparent that Samsung needs to hurry up and bring the new public update at the earliest. We’ll be hearing more about the One UI 7 version at the next Galaxy Unpacked event in January where the brand will unveil its new flagships for 2025.
