Sara Ali Khan’s choice of ensembles at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding bash has been nothing short of breathtaking. Sara has recently shared a glimpse of her second look from the wedding ceremony, and boy, it’s stunning! For her second look, Sara chose a gorgeous multi-coloured lehenga by Pakistani designer Iqbal Hussain’s Festive Couture 23–24. Her ensemble consists of a pishwas (flowy frock), a lehenga skirt, and a dupatta.
The olive green pishwas features a thick border of multiple techniques using zardozi, kora, dabka, nakshi, gota and thread work. It also boasts a bit of heavy kaamdani and marori jaal all over. The neckline of her kurta showcases a contrasting shade of orange that adds a vibrant pop of colour to her stunning look. Paired with it is a hot pink lehenga crafted from pure silk. It features gota, tilla, and sequins all over.
For a regal touch, Sara completed her look with a multi-coloured pure katan silk dupatta. The beautiful colours of her dupatta elevated her ensemble to another level of elegance. It also showcases various handwork techniques such as zardozi, kora, dabka, nakshi, sequins, kaamdani and antique handwork borders. The heavy mukesh work in the center adds a gleaming effect to her attire.
For accessories, Sara’s heavy jhumkis, a maang tikka and cocktail rings added the right amount of glamour to her appearance. In the glam department, Makeup Artist Reshmaa Merchant gave her a dewy look consisting of smokey eyes, bold kajal, mascara, defined brows and glossy lipstick. Lastly, the actress kept her hair open, styled in a half-tied, half-open fashion.
Earlier, Sara Ali Khan wore a stunning multi-coloured lehenga from the shelves of designer Simar Dugal. The lehenga featured alternating blocks of gota strips and dense aari and dori embroidery. It was accentuated with a colourful geometric belt and a wide border detailed with zari work. Sara paired the lehenga with a short, bustier blouse featuring thin straps. She completed her look with a matching organza dupatta adorned with motifs throughout its length.
Sara styled her lehenga with a Kundan pearl necklace from Jagdish Jewellers. Lastly, she kept her makeup minimal and styled her hair in a high ponytail.
