Taylor Swift might not have been present at her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s latest match, but that does not mean she wasn’t following the game. On Wednesday, December 25, the Kansas City Chiefs went up against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium, ultimately winning it. During the game, Travis made history with his 77th receiving touchdown, breaking the all-time Chiefs receiving touchdowns record previously set by Tony Gonzalez.
The official Instagram pages of Kansas City Chiefs and New Heights, a podcast co-hosted by Travis and his brother Jason Kelce, gave the 35-year-old NFL player a shoutout on his milestone achievement. The Chiefs shared the announcement by saying, “If you ever can’t find Travis, chances are he’s in the end zone. Congrats, @killatrav!”
Meanwhile, the New Heights podcast Instagram page celebrated Travis’ historic receiving touchdown by sharing the post with multiple goat emojis, seemingly indicating that he is the GOAT aka Greatest of All Time.
Both the posts garnered the attention of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s girlfriend. Taylor reacted to Travis’ milestone achievement by liking the post which celebrated his milestone achievements.
Taylor was absent from this game, reportedly due to security issues. Page Six previously reported that the American music megastar would not attend any games of the Kansas City Chiefs this NFL season due to serious security concerns. A source informed the media outlet, “She’s not going anywhere unless she knows the venue intimately, and it has been thoroughly scouted and secured in advance.”
While she missed the Chiefs’ game against the Steelers on Christmas, Taylor attended Travis’ match against the Houston Texans on December 21. She was seen arriving at Arrowheads Stadium in Kansas City alongside her mother, Andrea Swift. The 35-year-old global pop sensation wore a long, red coat paired with black tights and a bucket hat.
Speaking of Taylor Swift’s work front, the singer recently concluded her almost two-year-long Eras Tour. She embarked on the tour in March 2023, ending on December 8 in Vancouver. Eras Tour made history by grossing over $2 billion in ticket sales.
In the two years since she began her tour, Taylor has performed at 149 shows across Europe, Asia and America and has also released her new album, The Tortured Poets Department. On the other hand, she broke up with Joe Alwyn and briefly dated Matty Healy before she got into a relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. They have been dating since September last year.
