Nakuul Mehta’s onscreen pairing with Disha Parmar is widely loved by the audiences. They enjoy a massive fandom in the entertainment industry and have fans delighted every time they come together with a new project. Adding to their delight, Nakuul recently posted a throwback photo on Instagram stories. In a humorous note accompanying the picture, he wrote, “Hey Disha Parmar. Any resemblance is purely coincidental.” The actress also re-shared the image with a handful of laughing-out-loud emojis.

Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar first collaborated for Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara in 2012. Their chemistry and nuanced performance earned them a loyal fanbase, eventually making them a household name. Owing to their popularity, they were later roped in as the lead couple in Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2. The show which aired from 2021 to 2023 was a reboot of the 2011 series of the same name. It starred Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar as the lead actors.
The success of the second installment of the show paved the way for its third season, Bade Acche Lagte Hain 3. It aired from May to August 2023.
On the work front, Nakuul Mehta has been roped to play the lead opposite Diana Penty in Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment for their upcoming series Daring Partners. Besides the two, the show also has Tamannaah Bhatia and Javed Jaffrey playing the pivotal roles. As for the plot, it chronicles the journey of two friends embarking on a new journey as business partners to establish an alcohol set-up.
Disha Parmar, on the other hand, is busy enjoying her time as mother to her adorable baby daughter Navya. She welcomed her little bundle of joy in September 2023, two years after tying the knot with Rahul Vaidya. While Disha is yet to announce her next project, Rahul will soon be seen in the cooking-reality show Laughter Chefs: Entertainment Unlimited Season 2.
