Switch off the lights
Make sure you switch off the lights whenever you leave any room. It might appear small, but it really makes a difference. You should also prefer using natural sunlight during the day.
Use energy-efficient lights
Next time you go shopping, try to find some energy-efficient light bulbs. These bulbs consume less electricity and last longer than regular ones. These also save money in the long run and do not require to be changed very often!
Take shorter showers
We use and actually waste a lot of water every day. Taking shorter showers is a good way to save water. Try to keep your bathing time as short as possible or use a bucket and mug.
Fix leaks
If you find a leak at your home, office or anywhere else, try to get it repaired as soon as possible. While it might just look like wasting a few drops of water, a leaky tap can end up wasting a lot of water over time.
Plant trees

Recycle and reuse
Recycling is important. Instead of throwing everything in the trash, try to recycle used paper, plastic items, glass, and metal. You can also reuse some items in creative ways. Turn off the tap
Try to turn on the tap only when it is required. When brushing your teeth or while scrubbing or face, keep the tap turned off. Even while shaving or washing your face, keep the tap turned off until you need it. This habit will save a lot of water in the long run.
