Five people were killed while over 20 were injured in a terror attack on Turkish Aerospace Industries headquarters on Wednesday.
Turkey retaliated the killing of five people in what it called a terrorist attack at the Turkish Aerospace Industries headquarters, with airstrikes on outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) targets in northern Iraq and northern Syria late Wednesday, the Defence Ministry said.
This comes after two attackers carried out heavy gunfire and explosion in Ankara, the capital city on Wednesday. Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said that the perpetrators of the attack were highly likely PKK members.
Hitting back, the Turkish air forces conducted airstrikes in Iraq and Syria and killed several PKK members while also destroying 32 PKK targets, according to the Defence Ministry on late Wednesday.
