US Secretary of State Antony Blinken says that Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has “reaffirmed his commitment” to a Gaza ceasefire proposal. Blinken also said that Hamas’s welcoming of a UN vote on the US-drafted ceasefire resolution is a “hopeful” sign. The US-drafted resolution, first outlined by President Biden, said it “welcomes” the plan, that Israel had accepted it. The vote on the United States-sponsored resolution on June 10 was 14-0, with Russia abstaining. Watch the video to find out more.
