TV star Drashti Dhami is thrilled as she and her husband Neeraj Khemka are expecting their first child. The couple shared the joyous news with their fans on social media earlier this month, posting a heartwarming video featuring their family. Drashti and Neeraj are expecting their baby in October 2024. Meanwhile, the parents-to-be are delighting fans with glimpses of their journey. In their latest Instagram entry, the couple shared a video compilation of pictures from their pregnancy photoshoot.
Drashti Dhami shared a short video on social media featuring her husband, Neeraj Khemka. The clip was a compilation of the couple’s candid moments from their pregnancy shoot. In the video, Drashti wore a white T-shirt with “Mama in the making” printed on it, while Neeraj wore a matching T-shirt with “Papa in the making.” They were both seen holding a slate that read, “Baby coming soon October, 2024,” scribbled on it. The actress shared the clip and expressed her feelings saying, “It is CRAZY how much LOVE you can have for someone you haven’t even MET Can’t wait for you OCTOBER 2024.”
Soon after Drashti shared the post, many of her friends from the industry congratulated her and expressed happiness. Rubina Dilaik commented, “Wow. super duper. Congratulations,” while Surbhi Jyoti wrote, “Congratulations.” Mukti Mohan, Aditi Sharma, Sunayana Fozdar and others reacted to Drashti’s post.
Earlier in June, the couple announced their happy news with a unique video featuring their family members. Drashti and Neeraj, dressed in striped clothing, held a poster that read, “Could be Pink, Could be Blue. All we know is that we’re due! October 2024.” As the video progressed, they were seen clutching a glass of wine in one hand while their family members celebrated the news. Later in the video, their family swapped the glasses for milk bottles.
Drashti and Neeraj married in 2015. The duo even participated in the couple’s dance reality show Nach Baliye. Work wise the actress was last seen in the web series Duranga. She made her television debut with Dil Mill Gaye and later appeared in successful shows like Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi, Madhubala–Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka. She was also part of the web show, The Empire.
