OnePlus 13 is one of the most awaited launches of 2024.
OnePlus 13 and iQOO 13 could be one of the most powerful phones of this year, but lot’s more expected to happen this month.
Time certainly does fly and it does if you closely follow the tech space. The big Apple iPhone 16 launch is done and dusted but we’re not done for the year just yet. In fact, some of the big-ticket smartphone launches are expected over the next few weeks, at least in some regions for now, and the excitement is surely evident as people are browsing through social media to get more details on these upcoming phones.
When you have a lineup that includes brands like Vivo, OnePlus, Lava and even iQOO, you can understand the reasons to be excited. And if that wasn’t enough, Qualcomm is slated to bring the new Snapdragon flagship chipset as well, so Techtember is giving way to Techtober and we’ve got you covered.
OnePlus 13
We’re not making this list based on the date of the launch but OnePlus 13 surely heads the lineup, purely because of the interest there is in the new flagship. The company’s new flagship is likely to pack the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset but that won’t be the only upgrade expected this year.
The OnePlus 13 could come with up to 24GB RAM this year should does sound like an overkill. The other rumoured details about the OnePlus 13 hints at the same camera as its predecessor but hopefully with a periscope lens. The phone could pack a large 6,000mAh battery which supports 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
Vivo X200 Series
Vivo has just confirmed the roll out of Android 15 version for its X Fold 3 Pro and the previous X-series phones, and now the company is ready to unleash its new flagship called the X200. This new lineup could feature a fresh design with a flat frame that isn’t rare anymore.
Vivo should be using the new Snapdragon 8 gen chipset as well, but we’re more interested to see where the Zeiss Optics camera system goes and how much further can it improvise on the existing quality. Understandably, the prices will go up but we would like Vivo to now build its suite of AI features to match its rivals.
Lava Agni 3
Lava is also back in the news with the launch of the new Agni 3 5G smartphone which is tipped to sport a premium design and some advanced features. Lava is launching the new Agni phone on October 4 which is just a few days away. The phone is likely to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity chipset, and we might see the Android version running without bloatware and ads like the previous Agni phones.
iQOO 13
iQOO 13 could also be announced this month, making it one of the powerful phones in the market. iQOO 12 was one of the most-affordable phones to launch in India and we expect a similar feat from the brand but in 2025. The new iQOO 13 phone should be powered by the Snapdragon 8 gen SoC as well and a new design twist would definitely be welcome.
Infinix Zero Flip
Infinix has been on a roll with some interesting products, especially when you get a phone to support MagSafe charging and price it under Rs 20,000. Now, the company could have a flip phone in the country called the Zero Flip which was announced globally this week.
