WhatsApp custom messages for forward chats will allow you to personalise before sharing it with other person
WhatsApp is making it simpler to personalise forwarded content. The feature, which is currently accessible to a limited number of beta testers, enables users to add personalised messages to text, documents, and other types of information.
Currently, it only works with photos, videos, and GIFs, the planned upgrade will remove the requirement for users to manually send a message after forwarding a text message, document, or image.
The functionality is restricted to users on WhatsApp beta for Android v2.24.25.3 and works with text, documents, videos, links, and photographs, according to a recent report by WABetaInfo.
If you wish to forward content and include additional context or information in the message, this feature may be useful. Additionally, it removes the necessity of deleting an existing caption or doing it separately.
It should be mentioned that the feature can be used to send a new message with content that wasn’t transferred, in addition to emails or files that have already been forwarded.
As per the report, it is expected that the feature will reach more users across the globe in the upcoming weeks. Thus, allowing users to add personalised messages to forwarded content. The specific release date for this update is yet to be confirmed.
WhatsApp Custom Message: How It Works
Previously, users were unable to include any further notes or descriptions when forwarding an image or any other type of content. You can now add customised remarks or explanations about the content you are sharing with the upgrade.
For example:
– You can include context or significance while sending an image.
– You may help your friends better understand a joke by giving them more background.
By improving the clarity and meaning of shared content, this feature seeks to improve communication.
Recently, a new Voice Note Transcript function that lets users turn voice messages into text was released by WhatsApp. WhatsApp is launching another update for Android users in addition to personalised messaging. WABetaInfo reports that new theme colours for both light and dark modes will soon be available on the platform. However, the feature will only be available to WhatsApp Business users in the beginning.
