After claiming two bronze medals at the Paris Olympics 2024, India’s Manu Bhaker will be competing in one more event where she hopes to make it a third medal.
With two medals already secured, Manu Bhaker will again look to create history at the Paris Olympics 2024. She is set to take part in one more event to bring her campaign to a close.

Bhaker has already claimed two bronze medals and is currently, the only medal-winner in the ongoing Olympic games from the 117-member contingent representing the country.

The 22-year-old could stand a chance at creating history yet again as she is slated to participate in the Women’s 25m Pistol precision event. The qualifiers will begin on Friday, August 2. The event is scheduled to begin at 12:30 PM (IST). Later on at 3:30 PM, she will compete once again in the Women’s 25, Rapid Event as well. The finals are set to take place on Saturday at 1 PM.
On Tuesday, she created history as she became the first Indian to win multiple medals at a single Olympic Games in the post-independence era. She claimed the bronze along with Sarabjot Singh at the Mixed 10m Air Pistol event where they beat the South Korean pair of Lee Wonoho and Oh Yeh Jin 16-10 to earn the country its second medal at Chateauroux’s shooting range.

Prior to the 2024 Olympic Games, she had also won gold medals in this event at the 2023 World Championships and the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games. But now after all the celebrations, she will look to refocus as she stands a good chance of getting a third medal.
Along with her, Esha Singh will also be the other Indian shooter who will be taking part in the event and both athletes will look to put in their best performance to take them as far as possible and bring in the third medal for the country.
Manu at such a young age has already shown why she is a force to be reckoned with and the 22-year-old shooter will hope that fortunes will favour her once again as she hopes to deliver yet another medal to the nation.
