Following a blockbuster Survivor Series 2024, WWE’s weekly episode of Monday Night Raw returned this week. CM Punk kicked off the latest episode of Raw with a promo before he was interrupted by Seth Rollins. The show also celebrated the 10th anniversary of The New Day.
Five official fights were on the match card. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther defended his title against Dominik Mysterio. In the women’s segment, Judgment Day squared off against Damage CTRL. The main event saw Rollins take on Sami Zayn.
CM Punk Kicks Off Raw
The latest episode of Raw began with CM Punk walking out to a huge ovation. He was not seen on Raw since WWE Bad Blood. Punk started talking about what the future held for him. He wanted to finish his story. As he was speaking, Seth Rollins made his way to the ring. Rollins said that he should have knocked Punk down the day he returned to the WWE and then a brawl broke out. Sami Zayn and Jey Uso ran down to separate the two before Raw General Manager Adam Pearce came out with some officials to take control of the situation.
Rhea Ripley Attacks Liv Morgan And Raquel Rodriguez
After the Judgment Day’s tag-team victory, Rhea Ripley ran down the ring to catch Liv Morgan. The Women’s World Champion quickly escaped by leaving the ring. Ripley then started punching away at Raquel Rodriguez. The ex-champion smashed Rodriguez’s face against the commentary desk a few times before Morgan jumped into the brawl. Taking advantage of the situation, Rodriguez slammed Ripley eye-first into the corner of the ring post. Security arrived to keep Ripley away from the fight.
The New Day Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary
The segment began with Adam Pearce announcing that The New Day would be celebrating their 10th anniversary. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods made their way to the ring. Kofi was seen tossing some pancakes into the crowd. A ‘Big E’ chant broke out as Woods admitted he missed his teammate. Moments later Big E walked out to a huge ovation from fans as no one had seen the star in almost four years. But Kingston and Woods were not happy to see their teammate. They told him how they were left stranded by Big E. The returning star tried to calm the situation by asking for a hug. But both stars turned away as Big E was overcome with emotion. He then left the ring as the crowd booed Woods and Kingston.

Damage CTRL vs Judgment Day: Raquel Rodriguez landed a one-arm powerbomb on Kairi Sane to secure a victory for Judgment Day.
Dakota Kai vs Katana Chance vs Shayna Baszler: In the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament match, Dakota Kai hit Katana Chance with the Benedryller for a pinfall victory.
Dominik Mysterio vs Gunther: In the WWE World Heavyweight Championship title match, Gunther hit Dominik with a Tenryu Powerbomb to retain the title.
Pete Dunne vs R Trutth: R Truth won the match with a schoolboy pin on Dunne.
Sami Zayn vs Seth Rollins: Seth Rollins sealed a victory with an inside cradle to get the win. He was then attacked by Drew McIntyre who announced his return.
