Several enthralling battles unfolded on the RAW episode once the opening segment was wrapped up. Let’s take a look at the results of those fights:
The last episode of Monday Night Raw ahead of the SummerSlam witnessed significant developments. The show was opened by Seth Rollins, who appeared in a modified version of a referee uniform. He called up CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, who are set to face off at the SummerSlam next Saturday. Rollins made it clear that the duo wouldn’t be able to fight before the PLE (Premium Live Event), or else the scheduled match would be called off. Punk was ready to leave the arena, but McIntyre stopped him. The duo engaged in trash talk before McIntyre showed off the bracelet that he stole from Punk.
Several enthralling battles unfolded on the RAW episode once the opening segment was wrapped up. Let’s take a look at the results of those fights:
Alpha Academy vs The Creed Brothers:
Chad Gable caused a distraction after Otis was tagged in. The Creed Brothers trapped Otis in the corner and launched a double suplex to secure an easy victory. After the match, Gable joined the winners and attacked Otis.
Maxxine Dupri intervened and slapped Gable before the lights went off and the Wyatt Sicks members came out to reveal their faces. Erick Rowan, Joe Gracy, and Dexter Lumis all showed up, along with Uncle Howdy. The sinister group attacked Gable, who flew off the scene to save himself.
Bronson Reed vs Sheamus:
Sheamus used the Beats of the Bodhran when Pete Dunne came up in the ring. Reed made the most of the opportunity and took down Sheamus with a Tsunami to win the match.
Carlito vs Jey Uso:
Cartilo looked a bit casual, as he was spotted eating an apple during the fight. He troubled Jey Uso with some fiery strikes. The referee was arguing with Cartilo when Uso returned with the spear and sealed the deal.
Karrion Kross vs Xavier Woods:
Karrion Kross thrashed Xavier Woods into the ring post and called his opponent “the worst King of the Ring.” AOP interfered, which allowed Kross to use the final prayer and clinch the victory.
Sami Zayn vs Dominik Mysterio:
Sami Zayn started off on a promising note. Dominik Mysterio later gained momentum. The duo traded strikes before JD McDonagh and Cartilo came forward and attacked Zayn. It prompted the referee to announce Zayn as the winner via disqualification.
Lyra Valkyria, Katana Chance, and Kayden Carter vs. Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler, and Zoey Stark:
Valkyria used a powerbomb to pin Zoey Stark, but the other team members saved her. Chance and Carter were preparing an afterparty, but Sonya Deville managed to stop the attack. Stark then hit Chance with Z360 to pick up the win.
Gunther vs Finn Balor:
Finn Balor was beaten brutally as Gunther trapped him with a sleeper hold and followed it up with a powerbomb. Balon received another sleeper hold, and this time he was knocked out.
