Women’s WarGames Match: Team Ripley Wins
The match began with Bayley going up against Nia Jax to start things off. The WWE Women’s Championship holder dominated the match to start things off. With an advantage to Team Ripley, Naomi stepped in next with a kendo stick to even the odds. For Team Morgan, Tiffany Stratton was eager to jump in next to help Jax but Candice LeRae side-stepped her to be the second member to make their way. Slowly the rest of the team members made their way in and the WarGames began from then on.
The highlight reel moment from the match was when Sky and Stratton made their way to the top of the cage. The former had a trash can on her and made the jump but the latter delivered a Swanton bomb. Stratton was also seen contemplating cashing in the Money In The Bank briefcase but was not able to cash it in. Rhea Ripley delivered the final blow with a RipTide off the top rope and through the table on Liv Morgan.
United States Championship: Shinsuke Nakamura Crowned New Champion
The US Champion coming into the match, L.A Knight looked well out of sorts when he was up against Shinsuke Nakamura. While the champion made his way to the ring, he dropped the title on the ground, showing signs that his focus might not be in the right place. After a fairly even start to the match, Nakamura delivered an elbow strike to take the champion off-guard.
Knight looked to fight back but Nakamura delivered a reverse DDT on the exposed steel floor in between the two rings and then delivered the Kinshasa to get the win.
Intercontinental Championship: Bron Breakker Retains IC Title
Bron Breakker had the tough task of taking on both Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser but the champion used his physical acumen to keep both opponents in check. Despite moments where both challengers looked to get back into the contest, it did not take long as Breakker delivered the spear on Sheamus to get the win and retain the title.
World Heavyweight Championship: Gunther Retains Heavyweight Title
The Heavyweight Champion was not at his usual self. He seemed to lack confidence going into the match and many expected that he might drop the title. But it was not the case, despite the lack of confidence he seemed to make the most out of his situation.
The Ring General looked to target Priest’s left arm on multiple occasions. But Priest did not look like backing down. It took interference from Finn Balor who attacked Priest to help Gunther get the edge. But the champion was not pleased as he went on to boot Balor in the face and then the pin to defend the title.
Men’s WarGames Match: Roman Reigns, CM Punk And OG Bloodline Win
The main event saw the Bloodline war likely come to a close with Roman Reigns, CM Punk and the OG Bloodline getting the win over Solo Sikoa and the New Bloodline.
Tensions were high at the start of the match, especially between CM Punk and Roman Reigns. But that proved to be the difference between the two sides. The New Bloodline were dominating for most of the match but after the War Games began, CM Punk made a massive gesture where he saved Roman Reigns from taking a Tsunami from the top of the cage by Bronson Reed.
That proved to be the turning point of the match which saw Roman Reigns fully trust Punk and the side managed to get their act together with Solo Sikoa in the end copping a finisher from each of the OG Bloodline Members and CM Punk and the Original Tribal Chief getting the win via pinfall.
