Ayurvedic doctor Aizal Patel explained to Local18 that the fibre in maize bread (Makki Ki Roti) supports digestive health and alleviates constipation. The iron content in maize helps combat anaemia, while Vitamin B supports blood pressure regulation. It also has Vitamin A which is beneficial for eye health, and folic acid, particularly advantageous for pregnant women.
