A court in Thailand found Daniel Sancho Bronchalo, a famous Spanish actor’s son and a YouTube chef, guilty of premeditated murder on August 29. Bronchalo was convicted for the murder of Edwin Arrieta Arteaga, a Colombian plastic surgeon, on the tourist island of Koh Pha-ngan in August 2023. The case drew significant attention in Spain as the defendant’s father, Rodolfo Sancho, is a well-known actor, leading many Spanish reporters to cover the trial. Sancho’s mother, actress Silvia Bronchalo, was present at the sentencing along with her husband Sancho, The Associated Press reported.
