Remember the classic tweed ensemble Ananya Panday wore in the opening scene of Amazon Prime’s Call Me Bae. Well, living her Chanel dreams once again, Ananya Panday made a classic Chanel statement at the luxury brand’s Paris show on October 1, 2024.
Ananya exuded ‘Glam Chic’ in Look 9, from Chanel’s Cruise 2024/25 collection, which was showcased at the MAMO, Centre d’art de la Cité radieuse in Marseille in May 2024. Carried by a wind of freedom, the Cruise 2024/25 was imagined by Virginie Viard combining an underwater reverie with reflections of the sun through embroideries, diving hoods, sequinned jackets and swimwear.
Ananya ensemble featured a pastel hue tweed jacket paired with matching shorts. The iconic pattern was further enhanced with bejewelled pins adding a hint of sparkle to the monochrome silhouette. She completed the look with black and white heels. The soft cascading wavy hair and her glass skin makeup, added drama to her timeless yet versatile look.
Accompanied by her younger sister, Rysa Panday, Ananya Panday took to Instagram to share a series of fun moments with Rysa and the show. Elated to be invited to attend the showcase, Ananya said, “What an honour to attend the @chanelofficial show at the Grand Palais and yes I get forever brownie points for taking Rysa as my plus one.”
On the occasion of the show, the House of Chanel made its return to the Grand Palais, a place of culture and the privileged setting of the Chanel shows for the past two decades. The ambience set the tone for Chanel’s Spring-Summer 2025 Ready-to-wear collection, which Ananya thoroughly enjoyed watching.
Before the show, Ananya was seen exploring Paris in her own unique way. Keeping it casual with Chanel and her love for food and fashion, Ananya shared a couple of precious moments from her outing. “Bonjour Paris Day 1 with the best ever @chanelofficial.”
