Indian rap sensation Badshah and Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido hint at an exciting Indo-African collaboration, teasing fans with a video from their Dubai recording session.

In a move that has stirred excitement across the globe, Indian rapper and music sensation Badshah, known for his chart-topping tracks and innovative style, hinted at a new collaboration with Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido. Davido’s star continued to rise when he won the Next Rated award at The Headies in 2012. Between 2013 and 2015, he released a series of hits, including “Gobe,” “One of a Kind,” “Skelewu,” “Aye,” and “Tchelete (Goodlife),” solidifying his position in the Afrobeats genre. In 2019, New African magazine named him one of the 100 most influential Africans, and in 2023, he received three Grammy nominations for “Unavailable,” “Feel,” and his album Timeless. The accolades continued in 2024, as Davido garnered three nominations at the 55th NAACP Image Awards.
