The latest controversy in Bigg Boss 18 that has grabbed everyone’s attention was the heated exchange between contestants Kashish Kapoor and Avinash Kapoor. The argument began when Avinash accused Kashish of creating a love angle to get the audience’s attention. This led to a fierce argument with Kashish calling Avinash a “womaniser” and “cheapster.”
To settle the matter, Bigg Boss played a clip from December 12 where the conversation between Kashish and Avinash by the poolside took place. This conversation, later brought up, triggered the chain of accusations between them. After viewing the footage, Bigg Boss assigned a task to determine who was at fault in the ongoing feud between Kashish and Avinash. Karan Veer Mehra represented Avinash as his lawyer, while Rajat Dalal was Kashish’s lawyer. The rest of the housemates were designated as the jury, who would make the final decision.
During the courtroom-style task, both Karan Veer and Rajat defended their clients, while housemates like Vivian Dsena, Eisha Singh, Shrutika Arjun, Shilpa Shirodkar, and Sara Arfeen Khan also gave their input on the matter. Most of the contestants sided with Avinash and criticised Kashish. Karan Veer, in particular, pointed out that although the incident happened on December 12, Sara Arfeen brought it up only 10 days later, likely to get back at Avinash after the nomination task. It was a significant point, and most housemates, including Sara, agreed with Karan’s argument. Sara even admitted that Avinash’s constant taunting had affected her, which led her to retaliate.
In the end, the jury gave Avinash a clean chit, and Karan Veer emerged victorious in the task. The following day, Kashish seemed disappointed with both the task’s result and the other contestants’ judgments.
As Kashish sat with Sara, the latter suggested that the episode was beneficial for Kashish as it was mainly about her. Sara said, “Tumhare liye toh accha tha, kal pura episode he tumhare baare mein tha (For you, it was good, the whole episode was about you yesterday).” Kashish, not pleased with the comment, responded, “Ahh Ahh… mujhe aisa accha nahi chahiye (I don’t want it like this).”
Sara quickly replied, “But this was all created to lift someone as usual.” Kashish agreed, saying, “Haan, of course, kyunki arop toh mere upar lage the, toh I should be the defendant, maine toh, arop lagaya nahi tha (Yes, of course, because the accusations were made against me so I should be the defendant. I didn’t make any accusations).”
