Palemar scored the second goal for Chelsea in the 6-2 win over Wolves at Molineux Stadium before providing a hat-trick of assists to Noni Madueke.

Cole Palmer was on fire for Chelsea on Sunday (August 25) during the Premier League match against Wolves. The English star scored the second goal for the Blues in their 6-2 win at the Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton and also provided three assists to Noni Madueke. By setting up three goals for Madueke, Palmer joined Thierry Henry and Harry Kane in an exclusive list by becoming only the third player in Premier League history to assist a teammate’s hattrick in an away fixture.

Ever since he arrived at Stamford Bridge from Manchester City last season, Palmer has constantly been in the headlines. He was Chelsea’s best player by a distance last season.

The official account of StatMuse FC has shared the stat on X. However, it misses out on Harry Kane’s performance against Southampton at Saint Mary’s Stadium in September 2020.

Fans are now elated to see Palmer acquire this rare feat at such a tender age. Reacting to the stat in the comments section, one of them wrote, “The boy is on fire.”

Another jokingly said, “Henry must feel honoured to be in Palmer’s company.”

One netizen added, “City shouldn’t have let Palmer go.”

Others ensured to remind the page that Harry Kane had also achieved this back in 2020. “Did this just not happen then?” one wrote.

Another agreed and added, “Kane vs Southampton 2020…but yeah it was a super hattrick.”

“Kane assisted 4 for Son away at Southhampton,” wrote one more.

Palmer was the heart of Chelsea’s attack as the Londoners netted six goals against the Wolves. The 22-year-old’s hat-trick of assists helped him become the first Chelsea player to record this feat since Cesc Fabregas.

Palmer has notched a whopping 26 goals and 18 assists since signing for Chelsea last summer. The forward was acquired by the Londoners for a fee of £42.5 million. He will now be looking to spearhead the Blues to a title this season while also challenging for the league crown. They will next take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League. The match will be played on September 1 at Stamford Bridge.
