Dyson has introduced its new Purifier Hot+Cool Gen1 in India. This comes just a few weeks after debuting the Big Ball vacuum cleaner. Dyson says this is a multipurpose appliance that can be used for air purification, heating and cooling. With the help of Dyson’s fundamental filtration and airflow technologies, the Purifier Hot+Cool Gen1 detects, collects and distributes air according to the demands of the space.

The Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Gen1 costs Rs 56,900 and comes in two colour options white and black. It is available at Dyson Demo locations and on the official Dyson India website.

The Purifier Hot+Cool Gen1 has a sophisticated sensor that can identify particle pollution, such as dust and pollen (PM2.5, PM10), and shows data in real-time on its LCD screen, according to Dyson. It combines sealed HEPA filters and Dyson’s core filtration technology for purification, which can capture up to 99.95 per cent of particles as small as 0.1 microns. This ensures a constant and comprehensive purifying experience by removing common indoor pollutants including dust, pollen and pet dander.
In addition, the air purifier has Dyson’s Air Multiplier technology, which produces more than 290 litres of airflow per second.
Through its LCD, the Purifier’s sophisticated sensors identify and quantify airborne particles, giving users real-time updates on the amounts of pollutants. With the purifier automatically modifying its settings in response to pollution events brought on by routine tasks like cleaning or cooking, this feature enables users to quickly monitor the quality of the air.
There is a Night mode on the device that dims the LCD screen and runs at a lower volume. A sleep timer is another feature that allows you to set the purifier to shut off after 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours.
