Iran-backed Hezbollah reportedly fired nearly 50 rockets from Lebanon towards Israel’s upper Galilee on the intervening night of August 3-4. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attack, however clarified that it was not in retaliation for the assassination of their senior commander. Instead, the group stated that the rocket barrage was in response to recent Israeli strikes that resulted in civilian casualties in two villages in southern Lebanon. Watch for more.
