The opening ceremony red carpet of 55th International Film Festival of India was graced by actor Sanya Malhotra. Sanya Malhotra whose film Mrs. is all set to have its Asia Premiere on November 22 at IFFI 2024, looked like a vision in white at the opening ceremony.
Celebrating tradition with a modern twist, Sanya, who was styled by celebrity stylist Manisha Melwani, adorned the Nayar Set designed by label Zwaan. The ivory chic blazer is crafted from mashru fabric, renowned for its silk-like texture and intricate weave and shine. The blazer features custom made brass buttons that added a hint of sparkle to the silhouette.
The highlight of Sanya’s red carpet look was the tapered Chanderi lungi skirt from the label, which elevated her overall look. The skirt complemented Sanya’s gorgeous frame and is definitely one of her finest red carpet looks from 2024.
Ahead of her red carpet fashion moment, Sanya shared a glimpse of her look on Instagram. The exquisite jewellery pieces adorned by Sanya added opulence to her style quotient. Combining the best of Indian heritage fabrics and contemporary styling, Sanya completed her style with an array of mix-n-match jewellery featuring multiple necklaces and bangles from Anu Merton, maang tika, sukh ring, choker, ear cuff from The Olio Stories, nose pin from Era Stories India and the haath phool from Amama Jewels. Every piece styled on her celebrated Sanya’s vibrant personality and made the ensemble red carpet worthy.
Sanya celebrated her natural curly hair in a bun accentuated with mogra flowers. The elegant and sophisticated styling beautifully blended tradition with modern allure. Sanya also performed at the opening ceremony, dressed in a stunning lehenga set, which she shared a glimpse of on her Instagram stories ahead of her performance.
Mrs. which is directed by Arati Kadav will be screened on November 22, 2024 at Inox Panjim, Goa at 5:45pm. Along with Sanya, the film also stars Kanwaljeet Singh, Nishant Dahiya among others.
The opening ceremony of IFFI 2024 Goa was attended by celebrities including Bhumi Pednekar, Manushi Chhillar, Nagarjuna, Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, Boman Irani, Randeep Hooda, Sunny Kaushal, Prasoon Joshi, Sudhir Mishra, Abhishek Banerjee, Madhur Bhandarkar, Taha Shah Badussha, Rajkummar Rao, Jaideep Ahlawat among others.
The 55th International Film Festival of India is on till November 28, 2024 in Goa.
