Elon Musk responded to an X user who sought “help” in removing Justin Trudeau from power in Canada.

Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, who backed Donald Trump and campaigned for him till victory in the US Presidential Poll, has now predicted a downfall of Justin Trudeau’s government in Canada in the next year’s general elections.
The Canadian federal election is scheduled to take place on or before October 20, 2025.
What did Elon Musk say about Trudeau?
Musk responded to a post on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, which said, “The German Socialist government has COLLAPSED and there are now talks about a snap election”.
“Olaf ist ein Narr,” the Tesla CEO wrote, which translates to “Olaf (German Chancellor Olaf Scholz) is a fool”.

To Musk’s response, a user wrote, “we need your help in Canada getting rid of Trudeau”.
Replying to his comment, Musk said, “He will be gone in the upcoming election”.

Next year’s elections are crucial for Trudeau who has been leading the Liberal Party since 2013 and his government currently has a minority status, triggering chances of his loss in the polls.
In 2025, Trudeau’s party will be up against other major parties, which include the Conservative Party led by Opposition leader Pierre Poilievre, and the New Democratic Party led by Jagmeet Singh.
Pressure continues to mount on Trudeau who has been slammed by the opponents for his continued support to the unchecked immigration into Canada. Adding more to it is the projection showing his opponents’ victory in the 2025 polls.
India-Canada ties at all-time low
India’s diplomatic relations with Canada have seen a new low in the recent past following Trudeau’s allegations on India regarding the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. India had rejected the allegations calling them baseless.
India has also time and again expressed concerns over Khalistani extremism and “anti-India activities” being allowed to take place under the Trudeau administration’s watch, and has asked the local authorities to take action.
A sharp decline in bilateral ties occurred as India recalled its High Commissioner from Canada citing security reasons after Canada alleged that High Commissioner Sanjay Verma, along with other diplomats, is a “person of interest” in the Nijjar murder probe.
“We have no faith in the current Canadian government’s commitment to ensure their security. Therefore, the government of India has decided to withdraw the High Commissioner and other targeted diplomats and officials,” the Indian government had said.
