At the opening night of the prestigious Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, actor Kareena Kapoor Khan made a stunning entrance on the red carpet in an Oscar de la Renta appliqued strapless gown.
The tonal orchid-inspired blooms beautifully wrap around the cotton-velvet gown, accentuating the column silhouette and complementing Kareena’s frame with elan. The actor completed her red carpet look with a sleek bun accessorised with a purple fishnet face fascinator. Styled by celebrity hairstylist Mike Desir, the fascinator added vintage glam to Kareena’s overall look.
Celebrating femininity, craftsmanship and timeless style, Kareena was styled by celebrity fashion stylist Rhea Kapoor along with Sanya Kapoor and Shereen. The blush tones on her flawless skin, berry lips and iconic winged eyeliner was creatively done by celebrity makeup artist Savleen Manchanda. Kareena’s opulent style was further enhanced with some sparkling chandelier earrings encrusted with diamonds and rubies.
Sharing her excitement about being a part of the Red Sea International Film Festival, Kareena expressed, “I think it is brilliant. I have just walked the red carpet. I think this [year] is larger, it has more movies. I am excited about that. Last year was a tribute to women in cinema. And this time there are films from so many different places. I am so looking forward to that.”

The Red Sea International Film Festival kicked off on December 5, 2024, and the opening night was attended by an array of personalities from across the globe. The red carpet was graced by Aamir Khan, Will Smith, Michelle Yeoh, Eva Longoria, Emily Blunt, Cynthia Erivo, Minnie Driver, Spike Lee, and Daniel Dae Kim, among others.
The #RedSeaIFF24 is on till December 14. The film festival will also feature interesting conversations with global stars. The festival which opened with conversations with Aamir Khan, and Emily Blunt will also have Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Nick Jonas among others share their stories on the platform.
